YWLX, combining global latest technology of five stands tandem cold mill, has developed a new five stand tandem cold mill equipped with double tension reels, flying shear and Magnetic conveyor belt, which to be of big reduction rate, full continuity, high yield with less invest and low cost. The water Quenching system for bar and wire developed by YWLX, reforming traditional process by which add alloy to promote strength of bar and wire, has successfully produced third grade steel bar with 20MnSi.

Using the water quenching process, the property of second grade steel bar will be promoted and reduced the load of cooling bed that produce great signification.

The new technology will use POMINI mode to carry out controlled rolling and controlled cooling by low cost.

Hot/Cold Rolling Production Line

In 2015, YWLX had successfully developed first production line of special Z-type steel for ZSB ocean petroleum casing pipe. The production line of special Z-type steel has partly solved import substitution.

The special Z-type steel for ocean petroleum casing pipe had before been monopolized by some firms of Japan and Germany. Due to its technical threshold is very high, its importing price is also very expensive. In order to break up their monopoly and achieve the home-made of special Z-type steel, YWLX energized and mobilized its best talented personnel in metallurgical and rolling field successfully to develop first production line of special Z-type steel.

The production line’s success, based on our research and development achievements and engineering experiences for many years in metallurgical and rolling field, had broken up technical barriers and tackled many technical difficult problems and developed unique rolling pass for Z-type steel. Skin Pass Mill

Skin pass Mill, the one of important facilities in galvanizing line, functions as following:

  1) To create surface roughness of galvanized sheet according to requirement in order to promote the quality of sequential color coating process.

  2) To improve the flatness of galvanized sheet.

  3) To improve mechanical properties of galvanized sheet, to decrease or eliminate yield plateau and stretcher strains.

Four/Six-Hi Reversing Cold Rolling Mill

Four/Six Hi finishing reversing cold rolling mills, as YWLX’s matured products, have been used in many Chinese steel firms. Especially, the Six Hi reversing precise cold rolling mill, supplied by YWLX, can roll not only carbon strip steel but also oriented/non-oriented silicon strip steel and stainless strip steel.

YWLX has developed the series of 900mm, 1150mm and 1380mm width of Six Hi reversing cold rolling mill, which produce not only the carbon steel strip, but also silicon steel strip and stainless steel strip. When rolling carbon steel strip(SPHC), the thickness can be reduced from 3.0mm to 0.2mm by six rolling passes without any annealing in process. When rolling oriented/non-oriented silicon strip steel, Its thickness can be reduced from 0.63mm to 0.26mm by 2~3 rolling passes. The thickness tolerance and flatness has satisfied the technical requirements.

Recently, the application of cladding plate and strip is gradually rising, which is replacing with nonferrous materials and stainless steel mainly used in electronic industry, decorative material, chemical industry and automobile etc. In past, exploding cladding and hot rolling cladding technologies had been predominated in the production of cladding plate and strip. The products made by above related process, has been puzzled by low surface quality, Low yield, high energy consumption and higher investment in environmental protection.

The cladding rolling business department of YWLX, combining the latest global technology and process in cold rolling cladding strip, has independently developed cold rolling cladding technology, process and complete equipment, including cladding technology of copper strip and steel strip, cladding technology of aluminum strip and steel strip, cladding technology of copper strip and aluminum strip, cladding technology of aluminum strip and stainless steel strip and cladding stainless steel strip and steel strip. Which can be bonded bimetal or triple metals in one prouction line.
