1. Function of temper mill
1) Eliminating yield terrace, entirely improving strip’s mechanical property.
2) Promoting the cleanliness of strip’s surface or obtain a certain roughness of strip’s surface; improving its processability.
3) Improving flatness and straightness
4) With the function of soft reduction to modify the thickness and mechanical property of steel strip.
2. Temper mill’s feature
1) With entire automatic control function: including automatic constant rolling force control (AFC), automatic constant elongation control(AEC), roll gap position control(APC) and constant tension control(ATC).
2) With higher automation level: including the function of automatically threading, automatically unloading coil, centering position control and quick roll change device.
3) With higher electrical control system: Drive system will use total digital control system and Siemens speed control device. Basic automation will use Siemens PLC control and 2-level monitor system. Bending roll system will use servo control.
4) HMI: The mill will use HMI to collect, display and store the data.
5) Flatness control: The mill will use positive/negative bending system of work roll to control flatness.
6) Process of the mill: Wet/dry rolling
7) With high pressure water system and anti-crimp roll and anti-jump roll
8) Auxiliary system of the mill: including oil lubrication system, low pressure hydraulic station and high pressure servo station
